Beginning from the year 1995, the L.M.I has been manufacturing ductile cast-iron rolls, entirely designed and produced by its own experts.

L.M.I is presently one of the main suppliers of ductile cast-iron rolls for the national steel industries.

It has every facility to meet the client, s requirements concerning dimensions, chemical analysis, physical and mechanical properties such as hardness, tensile strength, etc.

For each produced roll a certificate is issued and presented to the customer.

The metallurgical structure of the rolls may require different material specifications. So, the rolls can come out in acicular, ferritic or pearlitic material each in two layer's either.

The former type is usually used in cases where the higher hardness is required.
